The Italian Week Inaugural Gala Dinner

I am very honoured to be invited to this very happy event to commemorate the Italian Week in Malaysia. I believe this is the first time that the Italian Embassy has organised an Italian week in Malaysia and I wish to congratulate them and the Italian Trade Commission for organising it. From the programme for the Italian Week, I notice there is an exhibition of Italian arts and designs, Italian music festival, screening of Italian films, display of Italian cars, Fashion Show and most appropriately, Italian Gourmet Food Festival. 

2. I am very happy to know all these events are open to the public which is a very effective way to promote relationship between peoples of both countries. 

3. I also wish to take this opportunity to thank the Italian Embassy and its Trade Commission and the sponsor, Sri Inderajaya Holdings for this very sumptuous dinner and lively evening. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the recital by Ms Bonelli.
